This Week's Farmer Market Purchases

On my way home from church on Sunday I stopped at my favorite farmer's market. I couldn't resist taking a picture of the beautiful produce that I brought home.

I also picked up these tropical branches/leaves which are now looking beautiful in my kitchen.

burnt orange jumper

This is another custom order for a sweet baby girl. It is a jumper about 6-9 month size. I love the fabric color and design. I bought it originally thinking I might make myself a skirt with it or a summer top. I still have plenty of yardage and may do that.

Food and Fabric

I haven't posted for a while now, life has been busy. We tried out a new restaurant a week ago. It is called Yakiniku Viking Try. Yakiniku means to BBQ. This place is a Korean BBQ style Buffet.
The Sunday special is $10 per person for 90 min. You can grill all the meat that you want and they have soups and salads, fruit and desserts. What guy doesn't like that?
Matt doing what men do...GRILLING!

I know this looks like bacon but it is actually just very thinly sliced beef.

A sweet little dress I made on Sunday.
The fabric is a very soft Japanese linen.
